A lawyer purchased a box of very rare and expensive cigars, then insured them against, among other things, fire.

Within a month, having smoked his entire stockpile of these great cigars and without yet having made even his first premium payment on the policy the lawyer filed
a claim against the insurance company.

In his claim, the lawyer stated the cigars were lost "in a series of small fires."

The insurance company refused to pay, citing the obvious reason, that the man had consumed the cigars in the normal fashion.

The lawyer sued and WON!

Delivering the ruling, the judge agreed with the insurance company that the claim was frivolous. The judge stated nevertheless, that the lawyer held a policy from
the company, which it had warranted that the cigars were insurable and also guaranteed that it would insure them against fire, without defining what is considered to
be unacceptable "fire" and was obligated to pay the claim.

Rather than endure lengthy and costly appeal process, the insurance company accepted the ruling and paid $15,000 to the lawyer for his loss of the cigars lost in the
"fires".

NOW FOR THE BEST PART..

After the lawyer cashed the check, the insurance company had him arrested on 24 counts of ARSON!!!

With his own insurance claim and testimony from the previous case being used against hi m, the lawyer was convicted of intentionally burning his insured property and
was sentenced to 24 months in jail and a $24,000 fine.

So, through a friend of a friend of a friend who had a two hour conversation with Quentin Tarantino himself, I now know, and I thought I would pass along the information because it makes the movie even 100 times better than it already is.
Remember the first time you were introduce to Marsellis Wallace. The first shot of him was of the back of his head, complete with band-aid. Then, remember the combination of the lock on the briefcase was 666. Then, remember that whenever anyone opened the briefcase, it glowed, and they were in amazement at how beautiful it was; they were speechless. Now, bring in some Bible knowledge, and remember that when the devil takes your soul, he takes it from the back of your head. Yep, you guessed it. And what is the most beautiful thing about a person: his soul. Marsellis Wallace had sold his soul to the devil, and was trying to buy it back. The three kids in the beginning of the movie were the devil's helpers. And remember that when the kid at the end came out of the bathroom with a "hand cannon," Jules and Vincent were not harmed by the bullets. "God came down and stopped the bullets," because they were saving a soul. It was divine intervention.

Já þá er komið að annari bloggfærslu minni á þessu ári og hef ég ákveðið að blogga næst í haust. En hvað hefur á daga mína drifið síðan í febrúar ....öööööööö hef fengið minn skerf að af snúnings boltum frá guði, meira en ég kæri mig um!! og það er eins og hann fatti það ekki að það er eitthvað sem ég ekki vill. En núna er ég að undirbúa mig fyrir hina árlegu veiðiferð okkar félaga Gunna Rafns, jón Pönks og Símonar, í fyrra fórum við í Blöndu á svæði 4 en í dag erum við að fara á svæði 2 og þar ætla ég að taka maríu laxinn minn...... ( en ef ég þekki minn guð þá á hann eftir að klúðra þvi fyrir mér ) hef ég tekið þá ákvörðun að skipta hér með um guð og velja mér guð sem hefur betra auga fyrir því hvar laxinn liggur. Ekki mundi það drepa hann að hafa veðrið þokkalegt til veiða og sleppa háfaða rokinu og rigningunni frá því í fyrra.

 

Ég læt í mér heyra á fimmtudag hvernig þetta gékk allt saman og hvort að það sé eitthvað vit að skipta svona um æðri mátt á síðustu metrunum fyrir veiðiferðir.

Koma svo Lappi minn kæri..!!!!  ( það er nafnið á mínum nýja guði )
